COUNTY-BORN rugby star Tom Brown will make his first competitive appearance for nine months when Edinburgh Rugby play Ulste in the Guinness Pro14 in Belfast tomorrow (Friday).
The once-capped Scotland ace replaces the injured Duhan Van Der Merwe on the left wing for the trip to the Kingspan Stadium.
Former Law Primary School pupil Brown will make his 114th appearance for the club, but his first since damaging his hamstring against Ospreys on November 4 last year.
His inclusion is one of three changes made by head coach Richard Cockerill - but there remains no place in the squad for the other East Lothian stars, as Lewis Carmichael, Chris Dean and Callum Hunter-Hill all miss out.

The other changes see international pair WP Nel (tighthead prop) and back-row Jamie Ritchie both come into the side and replace Simon Berghan and Hamish Watson.
Former Leicester Tigers and Toulon boss Cockerill said: "We know that the Ulster crowd will be vocal and will be behind their team, so we need to control the game and field position, keeping that support as quiet as possible.”
The game kicks off at 7.35pm tomorrow and is live on Premier Sports.
