WEST Lothian club Fauldhouse United have announced their East Premier League fixture against Dunbar United will now take place in Tranent tomorrow (Saturday).
The pitch at Fauldhouse's Park View home is unplayable and with league rules stating the game cannot be played at Dunbar's New Countess Park, their county neighbours, who hosted the Seasiders on Saturday, have stepped in.
Fauldhouse manager Jon Connolly described Tranent Juniors' intervention as an "unbelievable gesture" in a tweet.
He also posted the below message.

At @TranentJRs_FC 1.45 ko
Can't thank @TranentJRs_FC enough for helping us out and going beyond the call of duty with the hospitality ECT. Also thanks to Dunbar who have been great in assisting us with this
And Connolly revealed the Belters are laying on transport as Fauldhouse prepare to make the near 70-mile round trip.
Just when I thought @TranentJRs_FC couldn't do anymore or be more helpful to us for tomorrow they have contacted us to lay on a 50 seater bus free of charge to pick us up at our ground and take us and our fans to theirs!!! Wow! Amazing ❤❤❤

Dunbar boss Geoff Jones told Courier Sport:"Fauldhouse's pitch isn't playable and they are concerned about a fixture pile up.
"Initially they requested to forfeit home advantage and play the game at Dunbar, but the league refused. Fauldhouse then asked Tranent if they could use their pitch as a neutral venue to which the request was accepted."
He said it was a "nice gesture" from the Belters, and added: " I'm pleased that the game is going ahead."
Kick off at Tranent's Foresters Park will be as planned at 1.45pm, and with the other three county junior sides either without a game or in action outwith East Lothian, the match will be the only junior fixture in the county tomorrow.
