FORMER North Berwick RFC lock Callum Hunter-Hill could make his Edinburgh Rugby debut against the Toyota Cheetahs in Bloemfontein, South Africa, tomorrow (Friday).
The ex-Scotland U20 captain has been named on the bench by head coach Richard Cockerill, who is without a host of international stars.
Despite selection for the 23-man match squad for the first time, the game will not be Hunter-Hill's first professional appearance.
He turned out for Glasgow Warriors last season.
Also in the side are Hunter-Hill's fellow ex-North Berwick players, Chris Dean and Lewis Carmichael, who start at inside centre and on the blindside flank, respectively.
Scrum-half Nathan Fowles, hooker Neil Cochrane and back-row Magnus Bradbury have been released from the Scotland camp to play.
But there is no place in the 23 for Johnny Matthews, the North Berwick rugby development officer, who was called up to the touring squad earlier this week.
