THE highlight of Sunday's Scottish Junior Cup draw for East Lothian's clubs saw Dunbar United handed a tie against the West Superleague giants who they famously knocked out of the same competition last season.

The Seasiders' 3-2 victory over Arthurlie last year was one of their most memorable in many seasons.

They now get the chance to repeat that feat, but the Barrhead outfit will be desperate for revenge when the two teams clash at Dunterlie Park on October 25.

Fellow South Division outfit Haddington Athletic also received a tough draw as they are set to host East Superleague big boys Linlithgow Rose on the same date and, like Dunbar, they will start very much as underdogs.

The draw was kinder for Musselburgh Athletic, but the Superleague outfit will have to be wary when they travel to Blackburn United, as although their West Lothian opposition are two divisions below Burgh, they have been in good form in the South Division this season and are right in the promotion hunt.

Tranent Juniors, the only one of the county's junior quartet not to receive a bye in the second round, lost 4-0 at Edinburgh United in Saturday's replay to be eliminated from the competition; their conquerors were then handed a favourable second-round draw against South Division strugglers Crossgates Primrose.
