TEMPORARY traffic lights in the west of Haddington are expected to remain in place for several more weeks as work to upgrade drainage pipes continues.
Scottish Water is carrying out work on the drains to prepare the system for new housing being built along the A6093 and the three-way lights have been put in place at the junction with Wellside.
East Lothian Council said the work was due to take 36 days, taking it into the middle of next month, and the large open grassland which has been barricaded off while it takes place will be returned to normal once it is complete.
