A TEENAGE boy has been charged in connection with an alleged assault at Knox Academy, Haddington.
Police said the teenager has been charged with a "minor injury assault" in relation to the incident in which a 14-year-old girl was reportedly attacked.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Police have now concluded their enquiries into the report of an assault of a 14 year old girl in Haddington on August 28.
"Enquiries have established that no serious injuries were sustained. A boy has been charged with a minor injury assault and the case will be reviewed further before consideration is made for a report to be submitted to the Children's Reporter.”
