HADDINGTON Farmers’ Market is set to return to Court Street this Saturday, offering a variety of locally produced food and gifts.
Possible gifts for food enthusiasts include spicy chutneys, artisan chocolates, locally grown and milled flour, honey, fermented foods, charcuterie, coffee beans, unusual jam flavours and Christmas cakes.
In the drinks category, there will be locally foraged liqueurs, craft beers, apple juice and gin.
The market is also welcoming a new stallholder, silversmith Truly Madly Silver.
Marion, the creator, crafts hallmarked sterling silver jewellery in her home studio in Haddington.
Other unique Christmas gifts and stocking fillers will include locally designed cards, mugs, and tea towels from Pencaitland-based Fiddy & Mabel, natural soaps and skin products from Caurnie Soaperie, and handmade bags and pouches from Haddington-based Ralfie & Boo.
Phantassie's stall will offer a range of produce from their East Linton farm.
For those celebrating St Andrew's Day or cooking for winter, there will be a variety of ingredients for traditional Scottish dishes, with ready-prepared foods including smoked salmon, pies, pate, quiches, Scotch eggs, scones, cakes and ice cream on offer.
Several stallholders will be also taking orders for the Christmas market, the final market of the year, on December 21.
