AN OPENING date has been confirmed for the newest addition to Dunbar High Street.
The Premier store, in the former Turnbull’s Home Hardware, has received the necessary permissions from East Lothian Council.
Now, the team behind the new business has confirmed that there will be “a soft launch” on November 15 before the “grand opening” on November 29.

Earlier this year, Shivakumar Kandaswamy, who currently operates both the Day-Today and Haddington Wines and Whiskies on Haddington High Street, confirmed that nearly £300,000 would be spent on transforming the Dunbar premises.
And he promised a focus on local produce “because East Lothian is the larder of Scotland”.
It is anticipated that between six and eight jobs will be created through the business.
