A NEW “spooky” experience is on offer for Halloween as the haunted trail at historic Newhailes House in Musselburgh stretches across the whole estate.
Visitors can follow the clues, ending up at the Stables Courtyard for fun games. Broomstick training is a separate fee.
Children must be accompanied by an adult. The cost is £4 per child for the trail. Adults go free with accompanying children. Dogs on a lead are welcome.
There is an additional £4 per car charge at Newhailes car park for all non-members of the National Trust for Scotland, which runs the house and estate on Newhailes Road.
The ‘spooktacular’ Hallowhailes event takes place on October 26 and 27.
