TWENTY-ONE solar panels will be added to the roof of a Dunbar hotel.
Permission has been given to the Dunmuir Hotel for the photovoltaic panels to be installed on the flat-roofed extension to the hotel.
East Lothian Council’s planning department gave the scheme the green light after they received no objections from members of the public.
The planning officer deemed: “Overall, in this particular instance the solar panels would not be harmful to the character or appearance of the hotel building, the surrounding area or to the character and appearance of this part of the Dunbar Conservation Area.”
