A MAN who admitted making derogatory remarks to his former partner at her home has been placed on a community payback order.
Scott Mason, 34, will have to carry out 150 hours of unpaid work in the community after he acted aggressively and repeatedly banged at the front door of the property belonging to the woman.
Mason also made insulting remarks to the woman during the incident on December 3 last year.
He went on to make threatening comments towards police constables after the officers had been called out to deal with the disturbance.
Mason, of Pinkie Road, Musselburgh, pleaded guilty to the offence when he appeared at Edinburgh Sheriff Court last month and was sentenced last Tuesday.
