SIXTY-FIVE crimes were recorded by police in Haddington during August.
Officers received more than 300 calls from members of the public over the 31 days.
The figures were revealed in a report to Haddington and District Community Council last week.
The report is broken down into five different categories of crimes: protecting the most vulnerable; reducing violence and anti-social behaviour; reducing acquisitive crime; improving road safety; and tackling serious and organised crime.
Offences in the first category included breaches of bail and anti-social behaviour orders, as well as buying alcohol for a young person.
The majority of the crimes recorded came under reducing violence and anti-social behaviour.
Nine incidents of threatening and abusive behaviour were recorded, alongside six cases of vandalism and five of assault, among others.
Five thefts were highlighted under reducing acquisitive crime, alongside offences including attempted extortion, fraud and wasting police time.
Officers recorded no cases under tackling serious and organised crime, while there were four cases of careless driving and four cases of dangerous driving listed under improving road safety.
