DRAWINGS for a play park at a new housing development have been lodged with East Lothian Council.
‘Play area 5’ makes up part of the Hallhill North development to the south of the East Coast Main Line in Dunbar.
The plans, which also include a SUDS (Sustainable Drainage System) pond, are now being considered by the local authority’s planning department.
Technical drawings for the play area, near the junction of Alexander Gardens and Yosemite Park, show a basket swing, seesaw and wheelchair carousel among the play equipment being suggested.
A decision is expected by early November.
Nearly 200 homes are being built through the Hallhill North development.
