A DRUNKEN street fight has led to a county woman appearing in court.
Jessica Glasgow was enjoying a night out in the centre of Edinburgh when she became involved in a row inside the Le Monde establishment.
The argument spilled out onto the city’s George Street and, after police arrived on the scene, 24-year-old Glasgow was said to have lashed out at PC Erin Miller by kicking her to the body.
Glasgow was arrested and charged with assault and appeared at Edinburgh Sheriff Court last week to plead guilty to the offence, which took place on February 24.
Not guilty pleas were accepted by the Crown to two further alleged assaults on the same night.
Sheriff Thomas Welsh ordered the offender, of Stoneybank Gardens, Musselburgh, to stay out of trouble and be of good behaviour for the next 12 months.
Sentence was deferred to September next year.
