WORK on a building in the centre of Dunbar High Street has been given the green light by East Lothian Council.
Plans to re-roof a section of the building, to re-slate part of the roof and the installation of replacement doors at 115A, 115B and 117 High Street were submitted to the local authority earlier this summer.
The proposals, from Rebecca Morrison, have now been approved by the council's planning department.
The planning officer described the alterations, which included other work, as “all relatively minor and seek to repair and renew various aspects of the external appearance of the building”.
They felt that it would have “a positive impact on its character and appearance”.
The report reads: “The proposals would not harm the residential amenity of any neighbouring residential properties.”
