A STORAGE container and two storage sheds will be put in place at Haddington Primary School.

The storage container is described as “a long-term storage solution” for the playground and, along with the sheds, will be used to store equipment associated with the school, off the town’s Neilson Park Road.

East Lothian Council’s planning department noted that there were no objections to the proposals, which were submitted by the school.

The officer’s report said: “By being within the school campus and their distance from residential properties, the proposed storage container and storage sheds would not harm the residential amenity of any neighbouring residential properties.”
