A 58-YEAR-OLD man has been arrested in connection with a crash on the A198 yesterday evening.
At about 9.20pm, police received a report of an incident involving a van on the A198, between Aberlady and Gullane.
The 58-year-old was taken to hospital for treatment and has now been arrested in connection with the crash.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 9.20pm on Tuesday, September 3, we received a report of a crash involving a van on the A198 near Aberlady.
“A 58-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment.
"He was subsequently arrested in connection and enquiries are ongoing."
