POLICE are making enquiries after youths were allegedly climbing scaffolding at a housing development on Friday evening.
At about 7.40pm, police received reports of young people on scaffolding in the Fenton Road area of Gullane.
The Courier understands that the youths were allegedly climbing on scaffolding at the CALA Homes development at Saltcoats Grange.
Construction of the 150-home development got under way in 2022.
In June this year, another 38 homes were given the go-ahead.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 7.40pm on Friday, August 30, we received a report of youths on scaffolding in the Fenton Road area of Gullane.
"Enquiries are ongoing.”
