A FOOTBALL tournament has hit the back of the net to raise hundreds of pounds for two charities.
Haddington Athletic Youth Section held a seven-a-side tournament last month.
The tournament, which took place at the artificial surface off the town’s Whittingehame Drive, raised £600 for both Our Community Kitchen and Scottish Football for Rwanda.
Haddington-based Our Community Kitchen aims to tackle loneliness and isolation by getting people round the dinner table, while Scottish Football for Rwanda supports youngsters in the African country to play football.
