A COUNTY drug dealer has had a warrant issued for his arrest after he failed to show up to court for sentencing last week.
Teenager Jack Taylor was due to appear in front of Sheriff Kenneth Campbell KC at Edinburgh Sheriff Court after previously admitting to a charge of supplying heroin.
Taylor, of Glennie Road, Musselburgh, pleaded guilty to being concerned in the supply of the Class A drug to others at an address in Edinburgh on June 15, 2022.
He also admitted to supplying quantities of cannabis to others on the same date during a court hearing in May.
He also pleaded guilty to a separate offence of possessing a knife at West Crosscauseway in Edinburgh on July 14, 2022.
The 19-year-old should have been in attendance at the city centre court to find out his fate last Thursday bu,t when his case called, Sheriff Campbell was told that he was not present.
The sheriff issued a non-appearance warrant for Taylor’s immediate apprehension.
