A TEENAGER who assaulted a woman at a county pub has been told he must pay a fine.
Niall King, 19, assaulted the woman by punching her to the head to her injury during an incident at Whispers Lounge Bar in Tranent.
King admitted the attack on the woman during a court appearance in Edinburgh earlier this year.
Sentence had been deferred for the teenager to be of good behaviour and he was back in the dock last week.
Sheriff Roderick Flinn was told that King, of North High Street, Musselburgh, had stayed out of trouble since his last court date and issued the offender with a £100 fine.
