A DESIGN masterplan for enhancements to a Gullane park will be shared to the public during an open night next week.
Earlier this year, members of the public were consulted via a survey to offer their ideas for improvements at the village’s Memorial Park, after East Lothian Council secured funding to enhance the sport and play facilities.
Questions included which play items residents would like to see included in the park which would be suitable for children of all ages.
The survey received about 500 responses, which were then used to develop a design masterplan.
On Tuesday, East Lothian Council is hosting a ‘community open night’ at Gullane Primary School to share the plan.
Gullane Sports Development Trust, GPS and Proludic, the play area contractor, will also be in attendance and hosting presentations throughout the evening.
Anyone is welcome to attend the open night, which will run from 6.45pm until 8pm.
