A HADDINGTON woman who assaulted a man by spitting on his head has been told she must pay a fine.
Wendy Mein, of Hardgate, admitted acting aggressively towards the man at her home address on June 22 last year.
Mein also shouted and swore towards the man before uttering threats towards him and assaulting him by spitting on his head.
The 45-year-old pleaded guilty to two offences when she appeared at Edinburgh Sheriff Court last Wednesday.
Sheriff Peter McCormack issued two fines totalling £425.
