A COUNTY man made derogatory remarks to his former partner during an outburst at her home last year.

Scott Mason, 34, acted aggressively and repeatedly banged and kicked out at the front door of the property belonging to the woman.

Mason also made insulting remarks to the woman and, after police had been called out to deal with him, he made threatening comments towards the officers.

Mason, of Pinkie Road, pleaded guilty to the offence when he appeared at Edinburgh Sheriff Court last Monday.

Sentence was deferred for criminal justice social work reports to be prepared to September 10.
