AN INVESTIGATION has been launched after a village shop was broken into in the early hours of this morning (Saturday).
Police are carrying out enquiries after East Linton's Co-op store was targeted.
It is understood the store is temporarily closed.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "Around 12.55am on Saturday, August 10, we received a report of a break-in at High Street, East Linton.
"Enquiries are ongoing."
