A WALLYFORD man has been ordered to have no contact with his former partner after he behaved in a threatening manner towards her.
Daniel O’Neill shouted and swore at the woman, while he also made threatening remarks to her at an address on Grange Crescent East, Prestonpans.
O’Neill, of the village’s Affleck Rise, also gesticulated and acted aggressively during the incident on February 11.
The 40-year-old was found guilty at trial of the charge under Section 1 of the Abusive Behaviour and Sexual Harm (Scotland) Act 2016 during an appearance at Edinburgh Sheriff Court last week.
Sheriff Derek O’Carroll fined O’Neill £740 and issued a non-harassment order banning him from having any contact with the woman for the next three years.
