A PRESTONPANS man who left a wreath from a grave outside a home in Haddington, as part of a two-year course of abusive behaviour, has been fined.
James Anderson, of Hawthorn Road, caused four people fear and alarm by uttering and writing threats of violence towards them.
Anderson was also said to have driven his car past the home of the complainers on Pitcher Way in Haddington.
Edinburgh Sheriff Court was told that, on one occasion, the 69-year-old removed a wreath from a grave and left it outside the Haddington home.
All the offences were carried out by Anderson on various occasions between April 1, 2022, and March 9 this year.
He appeared at the Capital court on July 24 and pleaded guilty to the amended charges.
Sheriff John Mundy fined Anderson £520.
