EIGHTS trains have been cancelled between East Lothian and Edinburgh today (Thursday), affecting morning and afternoon services due to crew shortages.
In the early hours of this morning, Scotrail alerted customers of the disruption between North Berwick and the capital.
Scotrail have alerted customers that two North Berwick to Edinburgh services will not be running – the 10.26am and 3.25pm.
The 9.39am and the 2.39pm services from Edinburgh to North Berwick will also not run.
Earlier on in the morning, the 6.04am, 7.18am, 8.46am from North Berwick to Edinburgh did not run.
The 8.18am service, heading to North Berwick from Edinburgh, was also cancelled.
The alerts read: "Disruption has been reported to services between Edinburgh and North Berwick.
"The following services will be cancelled: The 8.18am, 9.39am and 2.39pm due to a shortage of train crew."
The other alert read: "Disruption has been reported to services between North Berwick and Edinburgh.
"The following services will be cancelled: The 6.04am, 7.18am, 8.46am, 10.26am and 3.25pm due to a shortage of train crew."
Scotrail have been contacted for comment.
