Emergency services attended an incident at North Berwick Law on Saturday evening.
A helicopter, from the HM coastguard attended the scene at around 5.10pm after an emergency call came in to operators at around 4pm this afternoon.
Rescue teams from North Berwick and Dunbar were dispatched to the incident.
From pictures shared online, the coastguard evacuated a person from the Law.
A spokesperson for the UK Coastguard said: “HM Coastguard received a request for assistance from the Scottish Ambulance Service with an incident in North Berwick.
“The call came in at around 4 this afternoon (15 June), a coastguard helicopter and North Berwick and Dunbar coastguard rescue teams have been sent.”
The Scottish Ambulance Service has been contacted for comment.
