A recycling centre in Glasgow has reopened as normal after a body was found there.
An investigation was launched after the discovery of a man's body at Easter Queenslie Recycling Centre in the city's East End on Wednesday morning.
The centre was shut down for the entire day as a result, and we reported that officers and forensics were scouring the scene.
Since then, the force revealed a post-mortem examination will now be carried out to establish the exact cause of death, however, they are not treating it as suspicious.
During the incident, the recycling centre was closed.
Today (Thursday, April 11) the centre is open.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Around 8.40am on Wednesday, April 10, 2024, we were made aware that the body of a man had been discovered at a recycling centre on Easter Queenslie Road, Glasgow.
"A post-mortem examination will be carried out in due course to establish the exact cause of death which police are not treating as suspicious.
"A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal."
