A man sent abusive text messages and voicemails to two members of the same family.
Jordan Davidson sent offensive comments and threats of violence towards Joseph Lane and Julie Lane last year.
Davidson, of Park Road, Ormiston, also admitted sending texts that threatened members of Mr Lane’s family when he appeared at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Monday.
The 32-year-old pleaded guilty to two charges that took place in July last year and had not guilty pleas accepted to two further similar offences.
Sheriff Douglas Keir released Davidson on bail and deferred sentence to next month for social work reports and a restriction of liberty order.
Davidson pleaded guilty to sending texts and leaving voicemails that were grossly offensive, or of an indecent, obscene or menacing character, to Joseph Lane and Julie Lane between July 6 and 7, 2022.
