A PLAQUE in tribute to a husband and wife who loved Dunbar has been given the go-ahead.
Dunbar Shore and Harbour Neighbourhood Group is to create a panel explaining the source of Dunbar’s water supply.
The panel, approved by East Lothian Council’s planning department, will be put on the town’s Victoria Street.
At the same time, it was agreed for details highlighting the impact of John and Thelma Band to be included.
Part of the panel reads: “Dedicated to the memory of John and Thelma Band, stalwarts of Dunbar Harbour Trust, Rotary Club, Christmas Lights, East Lothian Food Bank, Commodores of the Sailing Club, and countless community projects over decades.”
