A school reunion in Musselburgh was such a success that everyone is keen to repeat the fun next year.
The first-year class of 1968 at Musselburgh Grammar School enjoyed a get-together in the lounge at Staggs bar recently.
This year marks 55 years since the former pupils all started at the grammar school.
The reunion attracted 36 former pupils who took part in a quiz on events and local knowledge from 1968 which was hosted by the organisers Jennifer Rodgers (nee McLeod) and Brenda Rolland (nee Marshall). Jennifer ensured there was no cheating using mobile phones as she went round the class with her ruler.
"A good night was had by all," said Brenda.
She added: "Everyone enjoyed their night, so much so that they want to do it all again next year."
