Police are growing "increasingly concerned" for a 31-year-old woman who was reported missing in Musselburgh on Wednesday evening.
Jenny Thomson, from Peebles, was last seen in James Street in the town at about 6.30pm on Wednesday.
She is described as being 5ft tall of a slim build and long brown hair.
She was last seen wearing a light gold-coloured jacket with a fur hood and dark trousers.
Jenny is from Peebles, but has connections in Edinburgh and East Lothian.
Police are now appealing for people with information to come forward.
Inspector David Robertson said: “Along with Jenny’s family and friends, we are growing increasingly concerned for her wellbeing and are appealing for anyone who may have seen her to please come forward.
“If you can assist our efforts to trace her, please call police on 101, quoting incident 3611 of 17 May 2023.”
