A Musselburgh man who launched an assault at the town’s High Street has been fined.
Robert Currie admitted to repeatedly punching victim Nazal Hussan on the head during a violent altercation in the town last October.
Currie, of New Street, pled guilty to the assault during an appearance at Edinburgh Sheriff Court last Wednesday.
Sheriff Ian Anderson sentenced the 42-year-old offender to pay a fine of £180.
