A COUNTY man who repeatedly shouted and swore during an incident in North Berwick has been sentenced to a community payback order.
Aaron Burton also caused damage to doors within the property by punching them at the town’s Craigleith Avenue earlier this year.
When he later appeared at Edinburgh Sheriff Court, Burton also pleaded guilty to throwing items of furniture during the incident.
The 33-year-old was back in the dock at the city court last Monday, where he was placed on a 12-month supervision order.
Sheriff Chris Dickson also ordered Burton, of Albert Place, Wallyford, to carry out 140 hours of unpaid work as punishment for his outburst.
The sheriff also said that he did not believe a non-harassment order should be imposed.
Burton admitted to behaving in a threatening or abusive manner at an address at Craigleith Avenue on February 19.
