A WALLYFORD man who broke a window during an incident at a home in Musselburgh has been admonished.

Lee Carrigan attended at the property at Moir Avenue and behaved in a threatening or abusive manner. Carrigan, of Dury Way, also acted aggressively, repeatedly demanded money from the occupants and smashed a window on November 6, 2020.

The 26-year-old admitted the offence during an appearance at Edinburgh Sheriff Court earlier this year and he returned to the dock for sentencing last week.

Sheriff Adrian Fraser was told that Carrigan was currently serving a community payback order consisting of supervision and unpaid work for a previous offence he had committed in September 2020.

The sheriff said that he was content for that order to progress and admonished Carrigan on the incident that took place in Musselburgh.

Carrigan pleaded guilty to behaving in a threatening or abusive manner at a home at Moir Avenue, Musselburgh, on November 6, 2020.
