COMMUNITY groups have been urged to ensure they do not miss out on a £50,000 funding pot.
Dunbar Community Council works alongside Community Windpower Limited to help a number of groups throughout the town.
Alasdair Swan, treasurer of the community council, stressed that the money could be used to benefit a variety of good causes.
He said: “We get two tranches of £25,000 a year. We can spend up to half of that on larger projects worth more than £2,500. The other half they hope to be spread in small amounts round a wide number of community groups.”
More information about the grants scheme can be found on the community council’s website, dunbar communitycouncil.org.uk
