The Scottish Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SSPCA) has launched an appeal to find the owner of a ferret discovered at a county beauty spot.
The animal was found in Binning Wood, near Tyninghame, and is now in the care of the SSPCA.
An SSPCA spokesperson said: “This male ferret was found in Binning Memorial Wood, Tyninghame, East Lothian. He is not neutered and is not microchipped.
“He is now in the care of our Edinburgh and Lothians centre. If you recognise him or have any information please call 03000 999 999.”
