A 21-YEAR-OLD man has been arrested and charged following a multi-car accident in Musselburgh yesterday evening.
The incident took place on Eskview Terrace in the town at about 11.50pm yesterday.
The motorist is alleged to have crashed the vehicle into a number of parked cars on the street, causing severe damage to one car.
The man has been arrested in connection with road traffic offences and was due to appear in court today.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said:"Around 11.50 pm on Wednesday, April 19, police were called to a report that a number of cars had been damaged following a road crash on Eskview Terrace, Musselburgh.
"A 21-year-old man has been arrested and charged with alleged road traffic offences.
"He was due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Thursday, April 20. A report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal."
