MATILDA and The Lost King take to the big screen in East Linton this Saturday.
Alisha Weir and Emma Thompson star in Roald Dahl’s Matilda the Musical, while Steve Coogan and Sally Hawkins are among the cast in The Lost King.
Roald Dahl’s Matilda the Musical, which is screened at 4pm for a 4.30pm start, tells the story of a girl who, armed with a sharp mind and imagination, dares to take a stand to change her story.
The Lost King, which is shown at 7pm for a 7.30pm start, focuses on an amateur historian who defies the academic establishment in her efforts to find King Richard III’s remains, which were lost for more than 500 years.
Pix in the Stix is showing the films in East Linton Hall, with a suggested donation of £3 for children and £5 for adults for Roald Dahl’s Matilda the Musical, and £5 donation for The Lost King.
