Tranent Community First Responders is seeking volunteers to help respond to 999 calls in the Tranent area.
Volunteer first responders provide emergency treatment, dispatched by the ambulance service to certain types of medical emergency calls, and use their own transport to attend to patients in their homes, workplaces or public locations.
A Tranent Community First Responder spokesperson said: “We are looking to recruit volunteers to add to our current team of responders for the Tranent and surrounding areas.
“If you can spare some of your free time, are over 18 and have a clean driver’s licence, then please visit the Scottish Ambulance Service website where you can register your interest and find out more information.”
