A MAN has been taken to hospital following a reported four-vehicle crash on the A1 this morning (Thursday).
Emergency services were called out before 8am, with traffic described as “heavy” by Traffic Scotland.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland told the Courier: “Officers were called to a report of a crash involving four vehicles on the A1 northbound near to the Wallyford junction, at around 7.45am on Thursday, April 6, 2023.
"A man was taken to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary for treatment and a man received treatment at the scene.
"A 22-year-old man will be reported to the Procurator Fiscal for road traffic offences.
"The road was fully re-opened around 9.25am."
