TWO homes were broken into in Musselburgh yesterday, in incidents police believe are linked.
One incident happened between 11.15am and 1.15pm on The Grove and another between 11am and 1pm at Park Grove.
Entry was gained to both properties and personal items were taken from within.
Detective Constable Russell Taylor said: “Our enquiries into both incidents are ongoing and, while we will keep an open mind, they are currently being treated as linked.
“I would urge anyone who may have seen any potentially suspicious activity in the area on Thursday to get in touch.
"We would also be keen to hear from anyone who may have dashcam, private CCTV or doorbell footage from the area.
“Anyone who can help is asked to call 101, quoting incident 1552 of March 16, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
