A bid to convert a cottage into staff accommodation for events and the creation of a new laundry building has been made by Gullane Golf Club to council planners.
The plans would see the cottage, off West Links Road, converted into staff accommodation for use by the club when they are hosting events.
The cottage is owned by the club.
The building is currently used by the club as a storage and laundry services ancillary for the adjacent members' clubhouse.
Plans outline that the cottage will contain two bedrooms that can sleep a total of four members of staff.
To the north-east of the plot, it is also proposed that a new laundry facility will be built. It will house two washing machines and two dryers along with a sink/basin area.
The building would feature timber cladding with a brick base and a dark grey corrugated sheeting roof.
A path and ramp made of granite blocks would also be installed at the entrance to the plot and laundry building.
The new structure would be built on an existing domestic garden area adjacent to the cottage.
The planning statement said: "It is currently used as storage/laundry services ancillary to the club house.
"The proposal is that the cottage will be used only by staff as accommodation during events held by the golf club. The two bedrooms can sleep a total of four staff."
A decision deadline has been set for May 12.
