A five-week road closure is in place at Links Street in Musselburgh from today (Monday).
The closure is in place along Links Street which links New Street to North High Street, a distance of about 140m.
This is to facilitate footway resurfacing works with the road set to be closed until April 14.
A diversion route is in place past the Volunteer Arms between New Street and North high Street.
Refuse and recycling collections will be collected as normal.
Vehicles associated with the works will be exempt from restrictions and pedestrian access will be maintained.
Drivers should plan ahead to avoid delays.
