A village in East Lothian has been named among the most desirable locations in Scotland and the UK by new research.
The experts noted that the UK is home to a number of desirable properties and postcodes with many of these offering a blend of stunning architecture and beautiful surroundings.
After completing the research, it was revealed that dozens of Scottish towns made the top 60 to be among the most desired places to live.
Areas in Argyll and Bute, Aberdeenshire and East Lothian were named in this list compiled by the experts over at Freeofficefinder.com.
Gullane named among most desirable locations in the UK
Gullane was named among the most desirable locations to live in the UK by research into the video views gained by the town on TikTok.
The East Lothian village was ranked number 40 in the UK and number 6 in Scotland based on this metric.
Gullane also received 224,200 views, placing it between the Isle of Islay at 358,000 and Elie in Fife at over 10,000.
It was also found that the average house price in Gullane was around £399,958, making it the third highest in the Scotland list.

Isle of Mull, Braemar and Craigellachie named among most desirable places
In Scotland, the Isle of Mull took the top spot with more than five million views on the short-form video app TikTok.
The Isle of Mull, off the west coast of Scotland, offers breathtaking scenery, diverse wildlife and plenty of outdoor activities as well as stunning beaches.
Next was the small town of Braemar in north east with its proximity to the beautiful Cairngorms mountain range and plentiful outdoor activities such as walking, biking, skiing, and golf.
Craigellachie in Moray gained 623,800 views and offers a peaceful, rural lifestyle with stunning views of the surrounding landscape, whilst also providing a busy village atmosphere with its pubs and shops that are available.
