WORKS of art created by residents of a Dunbar care home have found a home in the town’s library.

Four Seasons Health Care, which manages Lammermuir House Care Home, teamed up with Creative Mojo, which specialises in art workshops with care homes.

A box containing bespoke projects with templates, instructions and materials is sent out to care homes across Britain each month.

The project is supported using Zoom training and workshops with Creative Mojo staff.

Alexandra Davies and Lola Ambus, Magic Moments activities co-ordinators, worked with residents in the home to produce some bird-inspired art works.

A spokesperson for the project confirmed that the work was now in the town’s Bleachingfield Centre.

They said: “We had a donation of art paper from Jane Selby, daughter of June Leeman, a resident at Lammermuir House Care Home.

“This allowed us to extend the original project with paper craft birds and flowers.

“Initially, we exhibited our pictures as part of our ‘Inspire Your Heart with Art’ exhibition in the home.”
