An emergency road closure is in place along Church Street in Tranent from its junction with Sandersons Wynd to its junction with New Street from today.
This is due to emergency water repair works having to be carried out due to a burst pipe.
East Lothian Council say a gas leak has also been found in the same area and work will be carried out to fix the problem.
The closure is in place from today (Friday March 3) until Tuesday (March 7).
A diversion route is in place along the A199, A1 and A198.
