A DUNBAR man has been placed on a community payback order after he admitted behaving in a threatening or abusive manner in a supermarket in the town.
Jason Stewart, of Lammermuir Crescent, acted aggressively towards a male and also a female employee while he was within the Asda store on Spott Road.
Stewart shouted, swore and made offensive and threatening remarks to the shop staff.
The 34-year-old also attempted to grab the male worker on the body during the incident on August 8 last year.
He appeared for sentencing at Edinburgh Sheriff Court last Tuesday after previously pleading guilty to the offence.
Sheriff Christopher Dickson placed Stewart on a community disposal whereby he will have to complete 80 hours of unpaid work in the community.
